Atopic Dermatitis is one of the common skin manifestations seen in children, especially the ones below five years of age. The clinical diagnosis of Atopic Dermatitis is associated with cirrhosis and typical pathological distribution of the lesions. As this condition usually spreads genetically, it is important to understand the environmental triggers. It is also important to diagnose signs of inflammation, factors of infections, allergens, irritants, or any stress. Understanding these triggers is important apart from skin care in the form of moisturizers. This lecture will highlight in detail how to diagnose and manage Atopic Dermatitis.
